Water is part of our DNA. Ouddorp, situated on the South Holland island of Goeree-Overflakkee on the edge of the Grevelingenmeer has been our home port from day one. There, in the Delta, a stone’s throw from the North Sea and the dunes, our hikes through nature along the island heads made us who we are today. We love the surprises so richly provided by the environment, every dune arouses your curiosity – leaving you longing to see what’s on the other side. Unique views over water and land. This love motivates us and inspires our designs, our architecture, our project philosophy, it did then, it does now.
Comprehensive Development Planner
Our work focuses on project developments at home and abroad, including Belgium, Germany and Panama. Our firm specialises in the overall process of development planning; from designing planning concepts, drafting urban and landscape plans, feasibility studies, operation models and marketing concepts, to the (aesthetic) supervision of its realisation with the accompanying financial accountability.
Leisure Specialist
Zeelenberg Architectuur sets the trend in the leisure world. Our concepts and designs for hotels, resorts and area developments have been realised worldwide. That includes over 40,000 recreational units and amenities for an investment value of around six billion euros in total. Comprehensive sustainability has become the bedrock of our work methods and designs. As part of that vision, we strive to preserve a balance between People, Planet and Prosperity in every project.
Co-Developer
We believe in our project philosophy and approach and dare to stand up for our beliefs. That’s why we are willing to invest in the development of plans and projects that excite us, those which embody our vision for the future and play a positive role in the social use of public space. When we invest in a project, we also share in bearing the risk of its realisation along with our client. Exactly how we do so depends on the concrete plan or project.
